Central Disbursement Mechanism (CDM)

  • To offer a Central Disbursement Mechanism to individuals/families receiving individualized supports as described in the Central Disbursement Mechanism Agreements and Ministry of Community and Social Services funding approvals.

  • This function acts only as a payor and has no responsibility for any allocation decisions or any consequences arising out of the disbursement of the Ministry of Community and Social Services allocated funds to the identified individuals/families.

 

Residential Placement Advisory Committee (RPAC)

  • To conduct residential placement reviews and to advise, assist and inform parents, children, youth and service providers as the availability and appropriateness of residential services and alternatives to residential services, in order to facilitate and / or improve the social support for children and youth at risk.

  • This program is funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

 

Process Coordinator

  • To provide a single point of access for adults who have a developmental disability to Ministry-funded residential services and coordinated access to other developmental services, where required.

  • To support the development of a personal Individual Support Plan based on the principles of person centered planning, self-determination and choice and to provide services that are reflective of this plan.

  • This program is funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.
